Centrica looking good for £1bn loan

Centrica, the UK utility, is making good progress on the loan it wants for the acquisition of 25% of British Energy, bankers said today. The company, rated A3/A/A, is seeking roughly £1bn from the loan market. No syndication is set to take place, however, as it will be a club deal. ..
